What are Ombudsman Services?
The Ombudsman Program is an advocacy program for older adults that is designed to assist and protect residents in long term care facilities, like nursing homes, Personal Care Homes, Assisted Living facilities,
and the LIFE Programs.
The Ombudsman receives, verifies, and attempts to resolve any complaint on a local level by acting as a negotiator between the complainant and the provider, only with the consent of the complainant.
